Seasonal Tire Storage

Whether you’re looking for a place to store your Seasonal Tires, or you’re planning on storing them at home, Simone Performance has the know-how and tips on how to do it safely and properly.

Storing at a Storage Facility:

If you don’t want to take up precious space in your garage, Simone Performance is pleased to announce a new service. We have partnered with TireHotel.ca to offer exclusive deals on local seasonal tire storage to our customers.

When you need a place to store your seasonal tires, there is no better place than the Tire Hotel!

As Canada’s original full-service tire storage centre, Tire Hotel offers safe and easy storage of your off-season tires. Never again handle a dirty tire or lose valuable space in your home! Tires are a critical component of your vehicle, which is why we offer the best in convenience, care, and safety when dealing with your seasonal tires.  Your tires will be ready to go when you are.

Storing at Home:

If you plan to store your tires at your home, please follow these easy guidelines for safe storage:

  • Store tires indoors, away from the sun’s ultraviolet rays which can shorten the life of the tire.
  • Try to store them in the basement, heated garage or workshop.
  • If storing them inside keep them away from appliances that emit carbon. monoxide such as a furnace, central vac, or sump pump.
Quick Inspection:

It is a great time to check the overall condition of your tires before putting them into storage.   When we remove tires, our technicians always check for tread depth, wear, etc. and will make a recommendation if new tires are needed for next season. If they need to be replaced next season, you can save some money or space by disposing of them. Before storing them, it is a good idea give them a good clean and pick out the stones that may be stuck in the treads. tires-slider

Simone Performance Announcement

April 25, 2022

After serving our community's automotive repair and performance needs for the past 18 years, with the last few stressful years during COVID, the time has come for us to move on to new adventures and to have a little more time to
relax and enjoy ourselves.

Vic and Christine are excited to announce that Simone Performance will be under new ownership as of May 1, 2022.

We want to thank our dedicated and talented staff who have been a very big part of our success, particularly Ryan Fray, our manager, for being that knowledgeable, friendly face customers see when they walked in.

Going forward, a familiar face will be your go-to guy at Simone Performance. Please welcome Brandon McCombe (our shop foreman) as the new owner, who – along with our great staff – will continue to provide the same excellent service that Simone Performance has become known for.

To help Brandon get established and on his way, Vic and Christine will be available in a limited capacity during the transition over the next few months. We cannot express our gratitude and appreciation enough for your business and to the Towns of Newmarket and Aurora – it has been a privilege to have been your trusted automotive shop for all these years.

THANK YOU!

Vic & Christine Simone
