Talk Shop: Tire Pressure Monitor Systems (TPMS)

Winter Tire Season is approaching and all vehicles are equipped with Tire Pressure Monitor Systems (TPMS) which should be functional even with your winter rim/tire package.

TPMS are small devices installed on each tire that measure tire pressure.  They come stock when you purchase a new car and are changed every time you change to new tires.  When working properly they can alert you to tire pressure issues and even leaks.  In this Talk Shop episode, Vic and Paul walk us through installing TPMSs and checking to ensure they are working properly.

Although they are small, they are loaded with technology!
