It looks like the summer has come to an end, the leaves are changing colour and some are even falling to the ground. This is the time of year when people are thinking of putting their summer cars away and are preparing them to be stored. There are many things we can do to make sure when you bring your ride out in the spring that it’s ready to rock with very little effort.

Fresh Oil Change Before Storing for Winter

When we get our customers’ cars ready for storage, we always make sure they are put away with fresh and clean oil. An oil change is always a must when storing your car, this way over the winter months your car will have the highest resistance to absorbing water in the months to come. Too often with new customers do we see water in the oil when we do an oil change in the spring.

Custom & Regular Vehicle Winter Packages

We offer many packages to suite the needs of each particular car that comes in for a winter check over.  They would involve a full check over of the car and we will supply the customer with any gas line antifreeze or fuel stabilizer that they may need. For vehicles that will be stored on the tires rather than in the air or supported we suggest filling the tires to the maximum pressure allowed by the manufacturer to aid the tire in staying true and round while it sits in one spot. Tires tend to flat spot when sitting resulting in a shake or vibration when driven at a later date.
